The gentle, handcrafted manufacturing process creates the characteristic, pyramid-shaped crystals with a fine, crispy texture. Its mild, clear salt flavor highlights flavors without overpowering them, making this salt the ideal Finishing salt for sophisticated cuisine. Whether savory or sweet – Maldon sea salt gives every dish the perfect finishing touch. Before the Maldon salt is filled into retail packages, the moisture content is checked again and, if necessary, dried in a special low-temperature oven.
