The Rosso di Montepulciano DOC from Cantine Dei is the youngest red representative of the winery, with a lively ruby red and fruity bouquet - ideal to enjoy at a young age. It comes from the Martiena vineyard, whose characteristic soil (tuff with sedimentary rock) particularly emphasizes the fruitiness of the Sangiovese.
With controlled fermentation and a 10-14 day maceration period, it releases fine tannins and matures to an elegant balance in the bottle. Despite its accessibility, it has an exceptionally long-lasting potential (at least 5 years of maturation possible). The perfect beginner and everyday wine with character.
The story of Cantine Dei begins in 1964 when Alibrando Dei acquired the first vineyard near Montepulciano. Maria-Caterina Dei, his granddaughter, has been running the family business with a lot of charm and foresight for over 25 years now.
