Tasting Sicily – authentic specialties from Sicily

The story of  Tasting Sicily started in 2004. At that time, Karin and Salvatore founded RomanoIl Mercato, a small factory for Sicilian delicacies.

Salvatore Romano wanted to produce special specialties from the wonderful raw materials of his homeland: pastes, sauces, condiments, jams, sweet creams and much more.

After many years of experimentation, refinement and craftsmanship, Tasting Sicily was created in 2015.

To this day, the focus is on two things: the love for Sicily and the passion for authentic, good food.

Sicily offers an impressive variety of high-quality raw materials - lovingly produced in Italy“matter prima” called.

Tasting Sicily processes these ingredients into special culinary creations. Many products are based on  traditional Sicilian recipes, others are surprising original compositions.
